Rachel received her BFA in Design-Illustration from Brigham Young University in 1999. She has worked as an in-house artist developing art and animation for educational software for both Waterford Institute, Inc., and Imagine Learning, Inc. She also worked as a web designer for Equifax, Inc., and has done free-lance illustration, graphic design and web design. Rachel's husband, Dallyn Vail Bayles, is a talented musical theater performer, who has toured with the national companies of both Les Misérables (Enjolras) and The Phantom of the Opera (u/s Raoul, André and Phantom). Dallyn and Rachel enjoyed appearing on stage together as Joseph and Emma Smith in Nauvoo, Illinois. Together they have four beautiful children. Besides art, Rachel also enjoys gardening, cooking, singing, acting, reading, and writing. The Bayles family currently resides in New Jersey.
